BDO History

BDO Zimbabwe was founded in 1981 by Mr. Ngoni Kudenga who holds the record as the first black Chartered Accountant in Zimbabwe. The firm was then known as Kudenga & Co Chartered Accountants. 

With a view to gaining international expertise and establish international presence whilst retaining local autonomy and founding values, Kudenga & Co joined the BDO network in 1996 and became known as BDO Kudenga & Co. 

In 2010 BDO firms worldwide adopted a single name and thus BDO Kudenga & Co became known as BDO Zimbabwe.
